‘I haven’t made a decision yet’ – 28-year-old Arsenal ace makes revelation about his future

Arsenal ace David Ospina has revealed that he has not made a decision regarding his future yet.

Ospina put the ball in Arsenal’s court, underlining that the North London outfit must make up their mind what they want.

The Colombian international also raised the possibility of a loan move next season.

“I haven’t made my decision yet,” Ospina was quoted as saying by Sporx.

“I am waiting for Arsenal to decide, I’m on holiday and it should all be sorted by the the time it is over.

“If Arsenal are not going to give me the playing time I want they can loan me to another club.”

Ospina has been closely linked with a move to Fenerbahce this summer.

Times journalist Henry Winter has revealed that Ospina is headed for a move to the Yellow Canaries.

Winter told talkSPORT: “The fact is that Ospina’s leaving for Fenerbahce.

“He’s on a fast plane to Istanbul tomorrow, probably, so I find it very strange [that he started the FA Cup final].

“Petr Cech has been, along with Alexis Sanchez, Arsenal’s best player this season.”

Ospina started in the FA Cup final, playing an important role in the 2-1 victory over Chelsea.

The Colombian international also started for the Gunners in the Champions League.

Ospina is however, unhappy with playing second fiddle to Petr Cech in the Premier League.

The 28-year-old has made just 14 appearances in all competitions this season but does have another two-years remaining on his contract.

  1. He needs to go to a club that will make him their #1 at the start. Cech is too good to be sitting every other game or something silly. He actually should have been in every game of all leagues! Wenger needs to bring back WS as #2. The kid was great at Roma! If Wenger lets him go he will regret it! Look at how many clean sheets he had and also games where he only allowed one goal. He’s solid. Get rid of Walcott, Gibbs, Ospina, Martinez, Santi, (keep as assist coach.. but his career is basically over because of this lingering foot/ankle problem., and a couple others, then buy very good talent in the market. Don’t fiddle, just buy with the money they gave!
