Hertha Berlin have issued a hands off warning to clubs interested in signing their hard working midfielder Tolga Ciğerci.

The Turkish Super League duo Besiktas and Trabzonspor have both been linked with the 22-year-old in recent weeks.

Hertha Berlin manager Michael Preetz talked about Ciğerci’s future in an interview with the German newspaper BILD.

Ciğerci who made 19 Bundesliga appearances for Hertha last season, is yet to make an appearance for the Berlin based this term due to an injury he suffered at the beginning of the season.

The 22-year-old has made two appearances for the Germany U20 but can still opt to play for the Turkish national team.

Ciğerci joined Hertha Berlin from VfL Wolfsburg in July for €2.5 million and has two and a half years remaining on his contract with ‘Die Alte Dame’
