Kıvanç and Koray were suspended, there were three injuries and Viera was unavailable for Rizespor.

The loss was the latest in a dismal run of results at home for the Black Sea based side.

Rizespor have only picked up four points at home all season in the league giving them the worst record in the Süper Lig.

Karaman’s side have had to rely on their away form for points this season. Rizespor have 13 points on the road making them the best performing away side in the bottom half of the table.

Rizespor take on Mersin Idman Yurdu next in the league on Sunday 15 February.
