How Tottenham’s 3-4-3 could lineup with ex Arsenal starlet Ozyakup joining

Tottenham became the latest side to be linked with Besiktas star Oguzhan Ozyakup following a report in the Daily Star.

Per the source, Spurs are interested in the former Arsenal starlet who could be available for £12 million over the summer.

Ozyakup is no stranger to Premier League football having risen through the ranks at Arsenal.

The Turkish international midfielder was part of the class of 92 which won the Youth FA Cup in a team boasting Jack Wilshere and Francis Coquelin.

If Ozyakup were to return to North London for Tottenham it could prove to be quite controversial.

It could also prove to be a clever acquisition for Spurs.

This is how Tottenham could look with Ozyakup in the team if head coach Mauricio Pochettino keeps a 3-4-3 setup.

Ozyakup

Ozyakup is best when playing alongside a hardworking central/defensive midfielder such as Wanyama.

The 24-year-old man pulls the strings in the Besiktas midfield and he played a key role in his side winning the league title last season.

Besiktas are likely to defend the league title this season and book a place in the Champions League as a result.

Ozyakup would face no work permit issues as he was born in the Netherlands and was an Arsenal youth product.

The Turkish international has years of Champions League, Europa League and international football experience behind him.

Ozyakup did face Tottenham in the Europa League back in the 2014-15 season starring in the 1-1 draw at White Hart Lane and the 1-0 victory in Istanbul.
