Eskişehirspor winger Ibrahim Sissoko believes his side deserved at least a point following the 2-1 loss against Galatasaray.

“We deserved at least a point, we were the better side,” Sissoko told Lig Tv.

“I am sure we are going to improve on our league standing, we do not deserve to be where we are, we are playing good football and I am confident.”

Sissoko scored the equaliser on 27 minutes, the goal was his first of the season.

The 23-year-old completed four successful dribbles – more than any other player during the game.

The Ivorian winger was awarded Man of the Match by Whoscored and given a rating of 8.02.

Sissoko joined Eskişehirspor on a free transfer from Wolfsburg in the summer and has made a total of 18 appearances for the Süper Lig outfit.

Eskişehirspor are not without a win in their last four league games and dropped into 15th place, just one position above the relegation zone following the loss.

Galatasaray closed the gap with second placed Fenerbahçe to just one point following the victory.
