Arsenal football club sent a message out to their followers wishing a happy Eid festival.
Playmaker of Turkish origin Mesut Ozil was used in the photo that delivered the message on the club social media channels.
The photo used shows Ozil praying before a game wearing the Arsenal shirt.

Eid Mubarak or Blessed Eid is a traditional Muslim greeting reserved to celebrate the end of the month of Ramadan.
The three-day Eid festival celebrates the end of the month-long fasting during the month of Ramadan.
Eid festivals differ the world over and among Turks it is traditionally known as ‘bayram’ which translates to celebration.
Ozil is a member of the Turkish community of Germany which has an estimated population of 3-4 million.
