The Turkish national team boss picked a youthful side with an average age of 23.
Three 19 year old players in Enes Unal, Emre Mor and Cengiz Under started.
Mor scored the opening goal and Under scored the final goal in what was his first start for the national team.
Manchester City wonder-kid Unal did not get on the scoresheet but was widely praised for his display on the night.
Unal shared a picture on his Instagram account following the game alongside his two fellow 19-year-old’s.
The trio are being tipped as the future of Turkish football, a new golden generation.
