Inter join race for €7.5m Everton target Wesley Sneijder

Inter Milan have joined Everton in the race to sign Galatasaray star Wesley Sneijder according to Fanatik.

The report links Sneidjer back to his former club where he enjoyed his biggest success as a player winning the table – Serie A, Italian Cup and Champions League title.

Sneijder did also of course work together with Inter boss Roberto Mancini during his time in charge of Galatasaray.

AMK report that Everton are also in the race for the Netherlands international who has a €7.5 million release clause.

Sneijder is reported to be happy in Turkey and his family are settled in Istanbul but Galatasaray are reported to be keen on cashing in for their star man after falling into financial difficulty.

The 32-year-old setup ten assists and scored five goals in 40 games for Galatasaray this season winning the Turkish Cup for a third time at the club.

Sneijder has won two league titles, three Turkish Cup trophies and has achieved cult status at the club.
