Ismail Kartal – ‘We had an off day’ [divider]
Fenerbahçe manager Ismail Kartal put down the 2-1 loss against Gençlerbirliği to having a bad day.
“We lost focus after our win against Galatasaray last week,” Kartal told Lig Tv.
Kartal did highlight that the weather and pitch conditions were not great but admitted that Fenerbahçe were not good enough on the day.
“The weather conditions were awful and the pitch was not very good but this is no excuse we were not ourselves today and I congratulate Gençlerbirliği,” he added.
