Chelsea transfer news

Galatasaray are preparing to offload their star goalkeeper Fernando Muslera at the end of the season.

The 29-year-old has signalled his intention to leave after five seasons playing for the Istanbul giants.

The Turkish newspaper AMK reports that the Lion’s will hold out for a bid in the region of €25 million if they are to offload the fan favourite.

AMK go onto state that Manchester United, PSG, Monaco, Roma and River Plate are all interested in singing Muslera.

Following the Lion’s victory over Rizespor in the Turkish Cup, Muslera stated that he will consider offers made over the summer.

“I have two seasons remaining on my current deal and have already spent five years at Galatasaray,” Muslera told reporters after the game.

“I am happy here however, if a serious offer comes in I will consider it carefully.”

The Uruguay international played a key role in Galatasaray winning the league for a record 20th time last season and earning the right to wear a fourth star – Galatasaray also won the double for a record sixth time.

UEFA suspended Galatasaray from European competition for a season for breaching financial fair play rules.
