‘Join me and become a champion’ – Nigerian international urges £16m Leicester City star to join him in Turkey

Trabzonspor are plotting a summer move for Leicester City star Ahmed Musa according to Fanatik.

Per the source, the Turkish league giants are keen on bringing in Musa on a loan move next season.

Trabzonspor midfielder Ogneyi ‘Eddy’ Onazi has reportedly informed the club that Musa is unhappy at Leicester.

Onazi has been acting on behalf of Trabzonspor working on convincing Musa into considering a summer move.

The report claims Onazi told Musa: “Join me and become a champion next season, Trabzonspor are a huge club with a fanatic fanbase and a grand new stadium.”

The Turkish league giants recently inaugurated the Senol Gunes, 41,513 seater stadium which is situated beside the Black Sea.

Trabzonspor would not be able to sign Musa on a permanent move considering he cost the Foxes £16 million last summer and has three-years remaining on his contract.

The Black Sea based outfit hope to offer Musa the opportunity to play first team football and get his season back on track.

The 24-year-old has struggled for playing time this season and was dropped from the Champions League squad ahead of the Atletico Madrid clash.

Trabzonspor are currently fifth in the league but have lost just once in 2017 and are just five points off four place.
