Schalke draw Real Madrid in Champions League Last 16 [divider]
Schalke will take on Real Madrid in the Champions League Last 16.
The defending champion Real Madrid will play the first-leg on February 17-18 or 24-25 and the return match will be played on March 10-11 or 17-18.
Schalke finished group Group G in second place on eight points while Real Madrid topped their group with a maximum 18 points.
Turkish international Kaan Ayhan may get some playing time against the Spanish giants but he has been used sparingly by new manager Roberto Di Matteo.
The 20-year-old defender was recently called up to the senior Turkish national team squad but did not play against Brazil or Kazakhstan.
Ayhan was born in Germany to Turkish parents, the young defender was eligible to represent both Turkey or Germany at international level.
