Kartal focused on winning Fenerbahce 20th league title [divider]
Fenerbahçe manager Ismail Kartal believes his side have a good change at winning the league title.
“We have long term plans but ultimately our goal this year is of course to win the league title for a record 20th time,” Kartal said.
“In football everything can change very quickly but we have worked hard to get where we have and have a good chance at winning the league this season.”
Fenerbahçe are currently first in the Süper Lig on 36 points after 16 games.
Kartal replaced Ersun Yanal as manager of the Yellow Canaries this summer.
The former Fenerbahçe player was assistant-manager under Yanal who has gone on to become Trabzonspor head coach.
