Kartal – ‘We could have scored more’ [divider]
Fenerbahçe crushed Rizespor 4-1 at the Yeni Rize stadium to progress to the Turkish Cup quarter-finals.
Yellow Canaries boss Ismail Kartal was pleased with his sides performance.
“We scored some great goals and could have had a few more but now we have a tough few days,” Kartal was quoted as saying by Fanatik after the game.
“We have to fly back to Istanbul in the morning then travel to Gaziantep a day later.”

Bekir gave Fenerbahçe the lead again just seven minutes later when Bekir found the back of the net and goals Mehmet Topal as well as Moussa Sow sealed the win for the away side.
Fenerbahçe are competing in two competitions this season. The Yellow Canaries are 2nd in the Süper Lig with 43 points from 19 games and are one of the favourites in the Turkish Cup.
The Canaries take on Gazianptepspor at the Kamil Ocak stadium.
