Beşiktaş midfielder Veli Kavlak admitted that he has become a better player under the management of Slaven Bilic.
“I have learned a lot from Slaven Bilic,” Kavlak told Radyospor.
“He is a really humble person and I have learned and developed a lot under his command. He is leading a great project here and the best is yet to come.
“He has helped me a lot and I have become a far better player under him. He is a really understanding person, if we have a family issue he lets us resolve it and go to be with our loved ones, he is more than just a manager he is a great friend to us all.”
Kavlak was born in Austria but is also a Turkish citizen through his parents.
The 25-year-old joined Beşiktaş for £600,000 from Rapid Vienna in 2011 and has seven goals and 14 assists in 132 appearances for the Black Eagles.
