Kazakhstan v Turkey: Fatih Terim names squad

Turkish national team manager Fatih Terim has named his 23-man squad ahead of the 2016 European Championship Group A game against Kazakhstan.

The game will be the sixth in the group stages and Turkey must win to realistically keep their hopes of qualification alive.

Turkey recently drew 1-1 with Netherlands at the Amsterdam Arena in the Euro 2016 Group A qualification game last month and beat Luxembourg in an international friendly.

Gaziantepspor striker Muhammet Demir and Fenerbahçe fullback Hasan Ali Kaldırım have both been removed from the squad after picking up injuries.

Turkey beat Bulgaria 4-0 in an international friendly at the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stadium on Monday 8 June.

The Kazakhstan game will be played at the Ortalyk stadium in Almaty on 12 June.
