Kerim Frei wants revenge against Liverpool [divider]
Beşiktaş winger Kerim Frei admitted that he wants revenge against Liverpool for their 8-0 win in the 2007-08 Champions League.
Frei share a picture of the 8-0 scoreline with the caption, “time for revenge.”
Frei later deleted the image on orders of club president Fikret Orman.
Liverpool beat the Black Eagles by a record 8-0 score last time they met at Anfield in the 2007-08 Champions League group stage – a competition record.
Beşiktaş have played Premier League opposition four times this season. The Black Eagles lost 1-0 to Arsenal over two legs in the Champions League playoffs.
The Turkish giants also drew against Tottenham in London and beat Spurs in Istanbul in the Europa League group stages.
Frei joined Beşiktaş on a £2.7 million move from Fulham last summer.
The Turkish international has scored four goals in all competitions this season.
