Klopp Accepts Liverpool Star Could Sign For ‘Another Club’ Amid Reports That Euro Giants Have Agreed 5-Year Deal Worth €4m Per-Year

Liverpool star Emre Can has been closely linked with an Anfield exit this season.

Reports on Italian television network Rai Sport claim that Can has reached an agreement with Juventus over a five year deal worth €5 million per-season.

Despite the latest reports head coach Jurgen Klopp has continued to give Can first-team opportunities.

Klopp was about the Can situation in his pre-match press conference ahead of tomorrow’s Premeir League clash with West Browwich Albion.

Can missed the Merseyside derby with Everton on Sunday buy did start against Spartak Moscow in the Champions League Match Day 6 clash last Wednesday.

Klopp revealed that Can could still sign a new deal with Liverpool but also accepted the fact he could also sign for another side in January.

Asked about whether the club planned more contract talks with Can, Klopp said: “Whatever I could say about that is not for the press conference, we spoke about that already a lot of times.

“And I said that he can sign but the only difference from January is that he can also sign for another club, that’s all.

“For us there is no difference. As long as we don’t get the information that he’s signed for another club. there’s nothing to say about it.

“And I speak a lot to Emre, like other players too, but it’s pretty rare that I speak to him about the contract situation because I’ve gave already all the information that we can give.

“That’s it.”

Can has yet to agree a new deal with Liverpool as he reportedly wants a buy-out clause option according to the Echo.

The Reds are however, not prepared to accept as the suggested figure is not seen as being high enough for a highly sought after young player.
