Dirk Kuyt calls on fans to vote for Manchester United star Robin Van Persie in the 2014 FIFA Puskas Goal of the Year Award.
Kuyt shared an Instragram picture of Van Persie with the following caption, “Remember this one? I do :-)! You can now vote for the FIFA Puskas Goal of the Year Award”
Van Persie scored a stunning flying header from the edge of the box against Spain at the 2014 World Cup.
Van Perise and Kuyt were Netherlands national teammates and remain good friends following the Fenerbahçe forward retiring from international football.
The former Liverpool forward scored 71 goals in 285 Premier League appearances for the Reds before joining Fenerbahçe in the Turkish Super Lig in 2012.
Kuyt has 27 goals and 24 assists in 99 appearances for the Yellow Canaries and was part of last seasons Süper Lig winning side.
