Lazio v Galatasaray: Europa League Preview

Galatasaray take on Lazio at the Olympic stadium needing a win or a score draw to qualify – or force extra time with a 1-1- draw.

Neither side are in particularly great form. Lazio have won just one of their last six games and have won just four out of their last 11 matches at home.

Galatasaray meanwhile are having a nightmare season and have just three wins from their last 13 on the road.

Lazio will be missing a few players going into the second-leg. Keita is out suspended. Stefan de Vrij and Dusan Basta are injured and Santiago Gentiletti is closing in on a return to fitness following a thigh strain, but is unlikely to feature here.

Galatasaray will be missing Sinan Gumus which leaves head coach Mustafa Denizli lacking depth up-front.

The Lions have struggled defensively this season. Denizli has tried to remedy their defensive woes by playing up to seven defensive players at once but has still not been able to stop the floodgates. Galatasaray do however, possess plenty of attacking prowess themselves.

Predicting: Over 2.5 goals
