Leeds United set to lose another star striker, talks in final stages

Leeds United striker Souleymane Doukara has been linked with a move to the Turkish Super League side Osmanlispor.

The Ankara based outfit have been on the lookout for a new striker following the departure of Pierre Webo earlier this summer.

Leeds recently sold their top-scorer Chris Wood to Premier League side Burnley. The West Yorkshire could be about to lose another striker.

According to Fanatik, Osmanlispor are in talks with both Leeds and Doukara’s representatives. Per the source, the Super Lig club are close to finalising the transfer.

Osmanlispor are keen to strengthen their squad following two defeat’s in two games so far this season. Bulent Under’s side suffered a 3-1 home defeat at the hands of Galatasaray last weekend.

Souleymane Doukara provided four assists and scored six goals in 39 appearances for Leeds last season.

Leeds take on Newport County in the Football League Cup Second round tonight, kick-off is scheduled for 19:45. The Peacocks face a tough away fixture against Nottingham Forrest this weekend.
