Claudio Ranieri has expressed his happiness after adding experience to Leicester City’s midfield following the transfer of Gokhan Iner.

“I am very happy. He is an experienced player. He comes from Italy where the football is very tactical. Is he my leader? I would like 11 leaders,” Ranieri was quoted as saying by the BBC.

Inler made his second appearance for Leicester in the 1-1 draw against Bournemouth on the weekend.

The Swiss international joined the Premier League outfit for a reported £5 million transfer fee despite interest from Bundesliga outfit Schalke and Turkish giants Beşiktaş.

Leicester have gotten off to a flying start in the League with two wins and two draws in their opening three games. The Foxes have won 29 Premier League points since April 1st 2015; more than any other side.

Inler’s side host Aston Villa at the King Power stadium in the next round of games which take place after the international break.
