Leicester City Reject Offers From Galatasaray, Fenerbahce & Italy For Caglar Soyuncu

Leicester City have rejected offers from Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and several sides in Italy for Caglar Soyuncu a source close to the player revealed to Turkish-Football.

Galatasaray and Fenerbahce have been keen to take the defender on loan next season and there has also been interest from Italy.

Soyuncu struggled for playing time last season but the Foxes want to keep the young defender in the Premier League.

The 22-year-old will have to compete with Harry Maguire, Wes Morgan and Johnny Evans for a first-team spot.

Maguire is highly sought after this summer and if he does end up being sold it could increase the chances of Soyuncu breaking into the side.

Leicester do not want to let Soyuncu go under the current circumstances.

Additionally, the 22-year-old defender is intent on staying in the Premier League and hopes to become a first-team regular for Leicester.

Soyuncu made just eight appearances in all competitions for the Foxes last term after joining from Freiburg on a £19m move.

The defender rose through the Altinordu youth ranks before moving to the Bundesliga in 2016 where he made 50 appearances in the league for Freiburg.
