Leicester City transfer news: Star defender subject to offer from Turkish club

Leicester City defender Yohan Benalouane could be on his way out of the club this summer.

The Tunisian international has failed to cement his place in Leicester’s starting line-up after joining from Atalanta.

The French outlet L’Equipe has claimed that Turkish Super Lig side Osmanlispor are interested in signing Benalouane.

Per the source, the powerful defender has been offered a three-year deal by the Ankara based club.

Benalouane has fallen down the pecking order at Leicester City after the Foxes signed Harry Maguire from Hull City.

The 30-year-old made just 11 Premier League appearances for the Foxes last season. Benalouane has two years remaining on his contract.

Leicester City suffered a 4-3 defeat at the hands of Arsenal in the opening game of the season. The Foxes were 3-2 up going into the last ten minutes but conceded two late goals.

The Foxes take on the newly promoted Brighton on Saturday. Kick-Off is scheduled for 15:00 (GMT).
