Qatari club Lekhwiya have made a €17 million bid for Fenerbahçe striker Emmanuel Emenike according to AMK.

Lekhwiya have been keeping tabs on Emenike for the last year and will make a bid for the Nigerian international during the winter break according to the report.

Arsenal and Tottenham have also been keeping tabs on the Emenike according to Turkish newspaper Milliyet.

The Nigerian international joined Fenerbahçe last summer from Spartak Moscow for €13 million, and scored 12 goals as well as providing 9 assists last season.

Emenike was joint top scorer at the 2013 African Cup of Nations alongside Ghana midfielder Wakaso Mubarak.

The 27-year-old striker also had and impressive World Cup and helped Nigeria reach the Round of 16.

Emenike has received a lot of interest from Qatari clubs but recently revealed that if he were to leave Turkey he would only consider a Premier League club.

“But to be linked with the Premier League is a dream come true,” Emenike said.

“I would love to play there in my career. There are many great clubs there.”
