Emre Can was in the stands for Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Newcastle United in the Premier league today.
The 22-year-old is out injured due to an ankle injury he sustained during the Red’s 4-3 victory over Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League.
Liverpool looked set to record a comfortable win in-front of their home fans and Anfield when Sturridge and Adam Lallana gave the Red’s a 2-0 lead going into half time.
However, Newcastle struck back three minutes after the break and Jack Colback levelled the score in the 66th minute to salvage a point for the visitors.
