Liverpool and AC Milan on alert as Galatasaray prepare to sell Muslera

Liverpool and AC Milan have been put on alert as Galatasaray prepare to sell Fernando Muslera.

Both the Premier League and Serie A club have been linked with Muslera over the past year but have been put off by Galatasaray’s €25 million valuation.

However, according to reports in the Turkish newspaper Bugun, Galatasaray are willing to let their star goalkeeper go in January following a sting of unsatisfactory performances in the UEFA Champions League.

The Istanbul giants are also going through financially troubling times and would be willing to cash-in on some of their high value players at the right price.

The Uruguayan international played an integral in the Lion’s back-to-back title winning seasons – 2011-13 – and played an important role in Galatasaray reaching the Champions League quarter-finals last season

Muslera joined Galatasaray from Lazio in a deal worth €12 million in 2011.
