Liverpool and Man United receive transfer boost as Euro giants line up replacement for Simon Kjaer
Fenerbahce are lining up a replacement for the in-demand Simon Kjaer this summer.
According to the Turkish outlet Fotomac, the Yellow Canaries are prepared to sell Kjaer in order to adhere with FIFA Financial Fair Play rules.
The Istanbul giants are currently being monitored by FIFA and need to raise funds by selling players.
Per the source, Fenerbahce have set their signs on Andreas Christensen as a potential replacement for Kjaer.
Kjaer plays alongside Christensen in defence for the Denmark national team. Fenerbahce are hoping to sign 21-year-old on a season-long loan deal.
Manchester United have sent scout to monitor defensive target Kjaer. Turkish newspaper Fanatik have reported that Man United scouts were at the Fenerbahce vs Akhisar clash last weekend.
Turkish-Football recently reported that Liverpool have also been scouting Kjaer throughout the course of the season.
Kjaer is a fan favourite at Fenerbahce and has been a consistent performer since making the move to Istanbul from Lille in 2015.
