Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is renowned for his eccentricity and passion. Emre Can in particular seems to be very impressed with just how much emotion the German head coach puts into his coaching.
Can described Klopp as being ‘on fire’ and that he has a win at all costs attitude.
“The coach is simply on fire and you can see that from when the game begins. He will give everything so that we win the game,” Can told Sport1.
The win at all costs attitude has not quite rubbed into the Liverpool team yet considering Klopp’s side have won just 17 of 39 games since he replaced Brendan Rodgers as manager.
The Reds can however, still win the Europa League but will have to get past a side that know all about Klopp’s fire – Borussia Dortmund.
Klopp made a name for himself at Dortmund constantly defying the odds and challenging German juggernauts Bayern Munich for the years he was in charge of the club.
Liverpool take on Dortmund on Thursday in the first leg of the Europa League quarter-finals in Germany before returning to Anfield the following week.
