Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp lining up move for Turkey international

Liverpool look set to rekindle their interest in Fenerbahce midfielder Ozan Tufan according to TalkSport.

The report states that the Red’s are preparing a bid for the 21-year-old who only arrived at Fenerbahce from Bursaspor last year.

TalkSport go onto say that Liverpool’s rival Everton are also interested in the services of the Turkey international.

Despite the daily transfer links Tufan is expected to stay at Fenerbahce this summer a source close to the player told Turkish-football.com.

Tufan is represented by the same agent as Arda Turan – Ahmet Bulut – who has close ties to most major clubs across Europe.

 

Meanwhile the Newcastle Cronical claim that Manchester United have also keeping tabs on Tufan for 12 months.

United were recerntly the bookmakers favourites to sign Tufan according to trading director of Betstars Ian Marmion.

“Ozan Tufan impressed for Turkey at Euro 2016 and it’s no surprise that he’s been the subject of much interest from several Premier League clubs,” Marmion was quoted as saying by the Sport Review.

“After a flurry of bets in the last 24 hours, Manchester United have emerged as overwhelming 15/8 favourites to sign him.”
