Liverpool Could Lose Another Star Player To The La Liga After Real Madrid Join Race

Emre Can Liverpool Juventus

Liverpool star Emre Can continues to be linked with an Anfield exit despite pledging allegiance to the club, until the end of the season.

Can has not confirmed what his next course of action will be but he has no shortage of interest.

Juventus have made no secret of their desire to sign the midfielder of Turkish origin over the summer.

The Italian giants could however, face competition from Real Madrid according to Don Balon.

Liverpool would lose a second high profile player to the La Liga if Can were to follow in the footsteps of Philippe Coutinho and move to Spain.

The 24-year-old will be leaving as a free transfer at the end of the season unless he reaches a deal over a contract agreement.

Liverpool have been unable to convince Can to sign a new deal as of yet but remain in talks with his representatives.

“I still have a contract here until the end of the season,” Can said.

“I give everything for the club, I will try to give everything for the club.

“The rest is down to my agent, and I’m just responsible for performances on the pitch.”

Despite being linked with an exit Can will be staying over the winter transfer window.

The midfielder continues to play regular first-team football at Anfield under the stewardship of Jurgen Klopp.

Can has been included in the Liverpool squad for the Swansea City clash in the Premier League tonight and is expected to start.
