Liverpool Could End Up Losing Another Player This January Following Latest Development

Liverpool ended up losing Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona on a £142 million move over the weekend according to the Telegraph.

The Reds could be set to part ways with another player if reports in Turkey are to be believed.

Fenerbahce have become the latest side to join the race for Daniel Sturridge according to Fanatik.

Per the source, the Yellow Canaries want the out-of-favour striker on a six month loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.

Fanatik claim that initial talks went well and that a deal is a possibility.

Yellow Canaries manager Aykut Kocaman has made signing Strurridge a priority.

Kocaman is worried that his side lacks depth upfront. Robin van Persie has struggled and is expected to leave.

Fenerbahce would be left with on-loan Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen and Roberto Soldado in the event of a Van Persie exit.

The Istanbul giants are currently just one point behind league leaders Fenerbahce but

Janssen has just three goals in all competitions while Soldado has five. The pair combined have just five goals in the Super Lig this campaign.

Kocaman has made it a priority to sign an addition striker to bolster the goal scoring form of his misfiring forwards.

Sturridge is represented by the Octagon player management company.

Octagon’s Turkish agent Hasan Anıl Eken who represents Sturridge’s rights in Turkey revealed his client would be open to playing in the Super Lig.

Eken was quoted by Fanatik as saying: “If the circumstances are right and the fans want him Sturridge would play in Turkey.”

Sturridge has struggled for playing time scoring just three times and providing three assists in 14 games this term.
