Liverpool & Everton target agrees deal with European giants

Fenerbahce full-back Caner Erkin has reached a pre-agreement with Inter Milan according to a former club board member.

Murat Asik who previously worked at Fenerbahce, called the popular Turkish sports radio station RadyoSpor yesterday evening to reveal that Erkin was poised to make a move to Italy.

However, Erkin’s agent Bartur Altıparmak has stated that he has no knowledge of a deal being in place.

Inter could still however face competition from the Premier League according to the Express who claim that Liverpool and Everton are also in the race.

Erkin star has attracted interest from across Europe and could be available on a free-transfer in the summer if the Istanbul giants fail to sign a contract extension deal.

The former CSKA Moscow player fell out with Fenerbahce head coach Vítor Pereira going into the Intercontinental derby against rivals Galatasaray and was subsequently dropped.

The fiery left-back is expected to leave the club at the end of the season following the latest rift with the manager.
