Liverpool face competition for Dortmund star as Turkish champions join 14 clubs to have made offer

Borussia Dortmund star Emre Mor has had no shortage of offers this summer.

In fact his agent Muzzi Ozcan claims his client has received no less than 14 bids.

“Fourteen offers have been made for Emre Mor but Borussia Dortmund have yet to respond to any of the bids,” Ozcan told NTV Spor.

“It is not clear yet what will happen, he could even leave on loan or stay at Dortmund.”

Besiktas have become the latest side to join that for the Turkish international.

The Aksam newspaper report that the Black Eagles have submitted their offer to the Bundesliga giants.

Per the source, Besiktas have informed Dortmund that they are willing to take Mor on.

Besiktas president Fikret Orman reportedly held talks with Dortmund’s Michael Zorc in China.

The Istanbul giants would be willing to offer Mor first team football as they are currently facing a crisis on the wing.

Star winger Gokhan Tore is out injured for the next few months leaving Besiktas lacking cover on the flanks.

The Eagles do however, face stiff competition with the likes of Premier League giants Liverpool closely linked.

Turkish-Football actually reported that the Reds were the first side to have expressed an interest in Mor this summer.

Ozcan did not reveal whether Liverpool made one of the 14 bids but following the signing of Mohamed Salah, Mor would be unlikely to assume a first team role.

The 19-year-old would provide cover on the wings.

Dortmund will make a decision on Mor’s future following the end of their China tour next week.
