Liverpool face competition from Bundesliga to sign Galatasaray's Kevin Grosskreutz

Hannover have joined the race to sign Galatasaray winger Kevin Grosskreutz.

The Turkish newspaper Milliyet have stated that the German side are plotting to bring winger back to the Bundesliga.

Galatasaray signed Grosskreutz from Dortmund last summer but were unable to register the 26-year-old after failing to send over the necessary paperwork to FIFA before the transfer deadline.

Grosskreutzl has been unable to play a single game for the Lion’s as a result of the mistake and is reported to be unhappy with the current situation.

Liverpool have agreed personal terms with Grosskreutz according to the Turkish newspaper Takvim. The daily paper stated that the Premier League side have agreed a three-year deal with the Germany international but a an agreement with Galatasaray is yet to be reached.

The Mirror also recently reported that the Red’s were interested in signing Grosskreutz.
