Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to heap praise on Emre Can as he nears an international call up for Germany.
The 21-year-old is set for an international call-up according to the German newspaper Bild.
The tabloid newspaper states that Can will be called up for Germany’s clashes with Poland and Scotland in September.
The 21-year-old featured in Germany u21’s European Championship campaign in the Czech Republic. Can scored a goal in his sides opening game and provided an assist in the second group game.
Can played the full 90 minutes in Liverpool’s 0-0 draw with Arsenal but only received received a rating of 6.64 from Whoscored.
The former Bayer Leverkusen man played alongside Lucas Leiva and James Milner in a three-man midfield. The 21-year-old made two key passes, two tackles and two interceptions.
Can has 13 caps for Germany’s u21 side and has played a total of 50 games for the World Cup winners at a youth team level.
