Liverpool were held to a 1-1 draw against Norwich City at Anfield. The Reds went into the game in 14th place on seven points but could have leapfrogged eight teams and moved into joint 4th on 10 points.
Can received a rating of 6.6 from whoscored after playing the full 90 minutes. The 21-year-old completed the highest number of passes in the game (80) with an 82.5 percent accuracy rate.
Liverpool were without the injured Jordan Henderson and Daniel Sturridge while Andre Wisdom missed the game for Norwich due to being ineligible to face his parent club.
Ins put Liverpool ahead on 48 minutes but Martin equalised for Norwich on 61 minutes to rescue a point for the away side. The Premier League giants could only manage moving into 13th place following the draw.
Following the final whistle we took to Twitter to see how Can’s latest performance went down on social media. Read a selection of what we found below:
Emre Can is best used in a back three rather than in midfield.

It says a lot for me that emre can's supposed "best position" seems to be wherever he's not playing for Liverpool at the time

Yet again we are forced to watch Emre Can play as a 3rd CB against Norwich City at fucking home #Pathetic
