Emre Can played the full 90 minutes in Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Sunderland over the weekend.
The 22-year-old started in midfield once again in a three-man midfield alongside joe Allen and club captain Jordan Henderson. Can has been a key member of the Red’s side since the appointment of Jurgen Klopp.
Liverpool were 2-0 up going into the final ten minutes but managed to blow their lead and come away with just one point.
Can played the full 90 minutes and received a rating of 7.56 from WhoScored. The 22-year-old made the highest amount of tackles for Liverpool and was a threat going forward with his marauding runs.
The Red’s dropped down to ninth place following their draw with Sunderland. Liverpool take on West Ham United in the FA Cup next week.
Following the game we took to social media to see how Can’s performance went down with fans. The Germany international received a positive reaction from fans for his display on Saturday.
I don't understand the problem with Emre Can. He is 22 and he is already pretty good. He is inconsistent like other players his age.
