Emre Can was one of the stars of the show during Liverpool’s 3-0 victory over Villarreal in the Europa League yesterday evening.
The Germany international was a surprise inclusion in Jurgen Klopp’s starting line-up. Can was deployed in a defensive midfield role and played a major part in his sides first goal.
We took to social media following the game to see how Can’s performance went down with Liverpool fans. It’s safe to say the 22-year-old’s return was greeted with a warm reception.

Emre Can has been absolutely imperious. He was on crutches two weeks ago. The man must be eating stem cells for breakfast.
