Liverpool fans react to Emre Can's role in win over FC Augsburg

Emre Can played the full 90 minutes during Liverpool’s 1-0 victory over FC Augsburg in the Europa League yesterday evening.

The Red’s advanced to the next round of the competition after drawing the first leg 0-0.

James Milner scored the only goal of the match from the penalty spot in the fifth minute.

Can was deployed in central midfield alongside Milner and club captain Jordan Henderson.

Augsburg was founded over 100 years ago but did not play in the Bundesliga until 2011. This was the Bundesliga sides first season in European competition.

Can has provided one assist and scored two goals in 34 appearances for Liverpool this season.

Liverpool take on Manchester City in the Premier League this weekend. The Red’s can move up to sixth place if they record a win over the Citizens.
