Emre Can played a staring role in Liverpool’s 1-0 victory over Sunderland in the Premier League earlier this week.
The powerful striker Cristian Benteke scored the games only goal in the second half to earn the red’s all three points.
The victory took Liverpool up to seventh place with with 30 points in 19 games.
Can revived a rating of 7.56 for his performance on the night by WhoScored and was the second highest rated Liverpool player. The 21-year-old made two successful tackles, two interceptions and two clearances.
The Germany international has been a constant feature in Liverpool’s starting line-up since the appointment of Jurgen Klopp.
Can has been deployed in midfield and is expected to keep his place in the side tomorrow.
