Liverpool have already developed under Jurgen Klopp says Emre Can

Emre Can believes that Liverpool have already improved under the stewardship of Jurgen Klopp.

We have developed under Jürgen Klopp already. Now we have to see that we still have a lot of points in the remaining nine games,” Can told the Frankfurter Rundschau.

The former Dortmund man replaced Brendan Rodgers as head coach 21 games ago but his form has not been particularly impressive.

Klopp has won 32 points out of a possible 63 giving him a 51 percent win percentage. Compared to former Reds managers he is currently hitting a lower win rate than Rodgers, Gerard Houllier, Roy Evans and Rafa Benitez.

The German manager is however, doing better than Graeme Souness and Roy Hodgson who had a 50 and 42 win rate, respectively.

It is however, worth noting that Klopp has been in charge for just 21 games and took over mid-way through the first half of the season.

Klopp will get the chance to make changes and moult the side to suit his management style over the summer transfer window and there are expected to be significant changes however, Can is likely to keep his role in the team.
