Gerrard played his last Liverpool game on the weekend losing 6-1 against Stoke City.

The experienced midfielder played a key role in the Reds winning the Champions League trophy in Istanbul.

The Reds came from behind against AC Milan to record one of the greatest Champions League final comebacks to lift the trophy in 2005.

Gerrard also featured in the 2006-07 Champions League final, was runner up in the 2008-09 Premier League title race as well as the 2013-14 championship race.

The Liverpool captain is expected to move to the MLS in the summer after spending his entire career at the Reds.

Reds youngster Emre Can could replace Gerrard in midfield next season. The 21-year-old has however, been deployed in Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers back-three and as a right-back this season.
