Besiktas take on Malmo in the Europa League on Match Day 2 in Sweden hoping to extend their lead at the top of Group I.

The Black Eagles got off to a great start after beating Sarpsborg at home by a 3-1 scoreline a fortnight ago.

Liverpool loanee Loris Karius started his first European game since the Champions League final against Real Madrid.

Karius returned to European football after his making two critical errors in the final over the summer.

The German keeper was widely praised for his display in the opening Europa League game and will get another chance to exorcize his demons as he is likely to start against Malmo.

Second choice keeper Tolga Zengin is injured meaning Karius is in pole position to keep his spot.

Malmo lost their first game against Genk by a 2-0 scoreline.

Besiktas have in-form names Ryan Babel, Tolgay Arslan, Jeremain Lens and Ricardo Quaresma all available.

Head coach Senol Gunes has a tricky decision to make over whether to start Oguzhan Ozyakup or Llajic in midfield.

The Istanbul giants will be welcome back Caner Erkin from suspension to fill in for the injured Adriano.
