Liverpool Loanee Karius Starts First European Away Game Of The Season As Besiktas Take On Swedish Giants – Confirmed Lineups

Besiktas face Swedish giants Malmo in the Europa League on Match Day 2 at the Malmo Stadium.

The Black Eagles head into the clash as Group I leaders after beating Sarpsborg 3-1 at the Vodafone Arena.

Liverpool loanee Loris Karius started his first European game since the Champions League final against Real Madrid against Sarpsborg and has got the nod again today.

Karius will star in his first European competition away fixture for the Black Eagles.

Besiktas boss Senol Gunes has decided to rest the in-form Ryan Babel opting to start Vagner Love upfront with Gokhan Tore being drafted in on the wing and Jeremain Lens on the other flank.

Star midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup is on the bench.

Necip Uysal is the surprise name in midfield and will start alongside Llajic and Gary Medel.

There were no surprises in defence. Caner Erkin replaces the injured Adriano in a back four comprised of Caner Erkin, Domajog Vida and Pepe.
