ESPN FC meanwhile report that Liverpool are prepared to listen to offers for Sturridge during the January transfer window.

Per the source, Southampton and West Ham are also interested.

Reigning Super Lig champions Besiktas are also considering Sturridge as a replacement for Cenk Tosun who recently joined Everton.

Sturridge is reportedly open to playing in the Super Lig according to Turkish agent Hasan Anıl Eken who represents Sturridge’s rights in Turkey – through Octagon, Sturridge’s management company.

Eken was quoted by Fanatik as saying: “If the circumstances are right and the fans want him Sturridge would play in Turkey.”
