Bursaspor midfielder Ozan Tufan has the potential to become the next Paul Pogba according to former Kasımpaşa manager Shota Arveladze.
“Ozan Tufan is a huge talent, he is the next Paul Pogba, they are a similar players and it is not surprising at all that some of the biggest clubs in Europe are chasing him,” Arveladze told Fanatik.
Pogba left Old Trafford in 2012 on a free transfer after a fall out with Sir Alex Ferguson.
Tufan is two years younger than Pogba and has been linked with some of European footballs best established clubs.
The 20-year-old’s father recently confirmed that scouts from Manchester United have sent scouts to keep close tabs on Tufan.
“Other big European teams have sent scouts to watch Ozan play…AC Milan, Juventus, Chelsea and both Manchester clubs, City and United,” Mehmet Tufan told Spanish newspaper AS.
Tufan also recently stated that he dreams of moving to the Premier League and that he would like to play for Liverpool in the future.
“The Premier League is my favourite league, I have always wanted to play there, it is my childhood dream,” Tufan told Bursaspor TV.
The versatile midfielder can play in defensive and attacking midfield roles as well as on the flanks as a winger and full back.
The Bursaspor midfielder midfielder has three goals and eight assists in 35 appearances for the Green Crocodiles this season.
Tufan has established himself as a first team regular for Bursaspor and has already broke into the senior Turkish national side.
