Liverpool Prepared to Sell Star Midfielder For Shockingly Low Price After Reports of 5-Year Deal With European Giants Worth €4m Per-Year

Juventus have made Liverpool star Emre Can a transfer priority for the January or summer transfer window according to Calciomercato.

Per the source, reporter Fabrizio Romano reports that the Reds do not want to sell Can in January as they want more time to persuade him into signing a new contract deal.

Can will have six months remaining on his contract in January but he has yet to sign an extension.

Liverpool have not given up hope that Can will renew his contract but they are running out of time.

The Reds are prepared to accept an offer over €10 million in January for Can which is shockingly low considering his age and the fact more was paid for him in 2014.

Liverpool activated Can’s €12 million release clause when they signed the midfielder of Turkish origin from Bayer Leverkusen.

Juventus could face competition from the Premier League as Manchester City are also reported to be interested in the 23-year-old.

The latest developments follow reports on Italian television network Rai Sport that Can has reached an agreement with Juventus over a five year deal worth €5 million per-season.

Despite being linked with a Liverpool exit and nearing the end of his contract, manager Jurgen Klopp has continued to give the midfielder first-team opportunities.

The powerful midfielder has four goals and two assists in 20 appearances for the Premier League giants this season.
