Liverpool star Emre Can has been closely linked with a move to Italian giants Juventus over the summer.

The latest reports form Italy suggest that Juventus have given up their pursuit of Can.

Gianluca Di Marzio revealed that Juve have grown frustrated with the Reds.

Per the source, Jurgen Klopp has made it clear Can is not for sale.

The Italian giants have turned their focus to PSG midfielder Blaise Mathuidi as a result.

Tuttosport claim that Can had agreed personal terms with Juve but that a deal had yet to be struck between the two clubs.

Per the source, the Serie A outfit are prepared to offer as much as €35 million for the 23-year-old.

Despite refusing all bids for Can, Liverpool do face the prospect of losing the midfielder for free unless a new contract deal is reached.

The midfielder of Turkish origin has just 12 months remaining on his contract but has yet to reach an agreement over an extension.

Can linked up with his teammates earlier this week after an extended break.

The midfielder was also included in the squad heading into the Audi Cup in Germany.
