Liverpool receive transfer boost after another clubs drops out of the race for Dortmund star Emre Mor

Borussia Dortmund star Emre Mor has been linked with several clubs over recent weeks.

Liverpool were the first club reported to be eyeing a move for the Turkish international a fortnight ago.

Reports in the British media claimed that the Reds were pushing for a loan move with a buyout option.

Jurgen Klopp is reported to be keen on the rising star and he does play a position that would be well suited to the Reds current formation.

Since then, Real Sociedad, Southampton, Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, Besiktas and Basaksehir are all reported to have registered an interest.

One by one the clubs mentioned above have started to drop out of the race.

Basaksehir president Goksel Gumusdag completely denied any interest in Mor: “Emre Mor? never even considered a move for him, neither has our manager.”

A source close to Besiktas revealed to Turkish-Football that they have are currently not interested in the Turkish international either.

Galatasaray have not made an offer leaving just Fenerbahce from Turkey still in the race.

Dortmund are not against Mor leaving on loan as confirmed by his agent Muzzi Ozcan.

Mor’s agent also revealed that he has received interest from England.

“Dortmund still want Emre however, they are not against him leaving on loan either,” Ozcan was quoted as saying by Turkish-Football.

“We have been permitted to hold talks with other clubs regarding a move.

“There are offers from England and Spain, we will hold a meeting now that Emre is back from international duty.”

Mor is one of the most promising players in Turkish football but the reason behind wanting to leave Dortmund is because he wants regular first-team football – he made just 12 Bundesliga appearances.

It is worth noting that Liverpool are on the verge of signing Mohamed Salah who plays a similar role. The Reds also have Sadio Mane who plays available in the same role.

Mor would be playing as a back up to Salah and Mane if he were to join which could leave him in a similar predicament to the one he faces this season at Dortmund.
